The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Lucas Portenkirchner (LPVD.AT), Kitzsteinhornstraße 34, Top 2, 5700 Zell am See, Austria, email: office@lpvd.at, phone: +43 664 750 411 08.
We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide this website, to handle your enquiries or on the basis of your consent. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). For storing or accessing information on your device, section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) also applies.
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. When you visit the site, the server technically processes data such as IP address, date and time, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system (server log files). This serves security and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted automatically after a short period. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. The connection between your browser and this website is protected by SSL/TLS encryption.
If you write to us via the contact form or the enquiry basket in our rental section, we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number, rental period, event location or occasion, delivery request, selected equipment and your message) solely to handle your enquiry and to prepare an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Your enquiry is sent to us by email; you automatically receive a confirmation at the address provided. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
To keep your equipment selection in the enquiry basket, we use your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This storage is technically necessary so that your selection is retained when you change pages, contains no personal data and is not used for tracking. The data only leaves your device when you submit an enquiry; it is then processed as part of your enquiry (see “Contact form”). You can delete the storage at any time via your browser settings.
This website uses a consent management tool (Complianz). On your first visit you decide whether to allow services that are not technically necessary. Technically necessary storage (e.g. your cookie choice itself) is based on section 165(3) TKG 2021 and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; everything else only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Details can be found in our Cookie Policy.
Some pages embed videos from Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA). These videos are only loaded after you have consented to the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner. Only then is a connection to Vimeo’s servers established, transmitting, among other things, your IP address and device information, and Vimeo may set cookies. Data may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, section 165(3) TKG 2021), which you can withdraw at any time. Further information: vimeo.com/privacy.
The font used on this website (Open Sans) is hosted locally on our server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
This website links to our profiles on Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Vimeo. These are plain links: no data is transferred to these providers when you visit our site. The providers’ privacy policies only apply once you click a link.
We currently do not use any analytics or tracking services on this website. Should this change, we will inform you here and obtain your consent in advance.
An add-on module from Hostinger (“Hostinger Reach”) is active on this website. When you visit a page, a script is loaded from Hostinger’s servers (cdn-reach.hostinger.com); for technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to Hostinger. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To protect our forms against misuse and automated requests, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Technically necessary data such as the IP address and browser and device information are processed to verify that an entry comes from a human. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data transfers to the USA are based on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to the extent the provider is certified under it. In addition, we use a time-based and honeypot protection as well as rate limiting; the IP address is stored for a short time for this purpose. Login attempts in the administration area are logged together with the IP address to protect against brute-force attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Enquiries and confirmations are sent and received via the website’s email mailbox at Hostinger. Sender, recipient, subject, content and technical connection data are processed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods apply.
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to us (office@lpvd.at) or to the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
